1 Program Definition and Services 

Respite Care Services in Arkansas provide temporary relief to primary caregivers of individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses. Services include: 

  • Short-term care (up to 14 days, extendable to 30 days with approval) 
  • Emergency respite care (up to 14 days, maximum 30 days)
